Effect of Organic Matter on the Flocculation of Colloidal Montmorillonite: A Modeling Approach

In my latest paper, I used the population balance equation (PBE) to calculate the parameters that are important to colloid flocculation: the sticking coefficient and breakup parameter. In systems that contain both siol mineral particles and organic molecules, the flocculation parameters are influences by electrostatic as well as steric molecular forces.
